The School Communication Committee (SCC) is a group of dedicated parents, teachers, and administrators, who not only raise funds for school improvements, but also bring together the community by organizing family fun events, promoting school awareness, and sponsoring activities. The SCC is an integral part of the Academy of Our Lady of Grace encouraging parents to be more involved in the school.
Like most private schools, the Academy of Our Lady of Grace cannot rely on tuition alone to cover operating costs. The SCC provides vital support in maintaining the school building and enhancing educational opportunities for all students.
The SCC board members meet monthly. Their membership renews yearly, and openings become available as members term out.
The mission of this association is to bring together the community, parents, administrators, students and staff to maximize the potential of the Academy of Our Lady of Grace by giving an equitable voice to those who the school serves. This committee has been created to maintain an academic, physical, emotional, social and safe environment where everyone can learn and respect one another.
Our vision is for the community, teachers, parents, and students to establish values that will promote thoughtfulness and kindness. Each student will be provided with an academic foundation necessary to reach his true potential and enjoy a successful experience in higher education.

Throughout the school year, the Academy of Our Lady of Grace and the School Communication Committee host a number of social events for students and their families. Usually scheduled around the religious holidays and seasons, the events help to build a sense of community.
Towards the end of August, a volunteer catalog will be available so that volunteers can be aware of the events to come and start planning their attendance. Please remember, in order to volunteer, you must take the Protecting God's Children Workshop and adhere to the guidelines as explained under the "parent guide" ribbon.
The SCC looks forward to working with you!
