All volunteers who have access to minors must follow the Archdiocese of Newark's Policies on Professional and Ministerial Conduct.
Please find a copy below of the forms that must be read and completed in order to be in adherence with the requirements of the Office of Child and Youth Protection in the Archdiocese of Newark. These must be returned to the school office. You will receive a certificate of completion for the attended workshop.

The required steps are summarized below:
To Complete and Return: Volunteer Application Packet, which has a "disclosure credit" reporting agency check authorization form attached. (This is required for the criminal background check.) Please complete, sign, and return to the school office.
To Read and Retain: A copy of Policies on Professional and Ministerial Conduct. The Code of Ethics Acknowledgement Form is on page 23, which has been included in the New Volunteer Packet above to be returned.
Attend a Protecting God's Children Workshop: From the main home page, click on the hyperlink Virtus Online Homepage which will take you to the registration page. Alternatively, you can also visit www.virtusonline.org. Once the course has been taken, the certificate of completion must be given to the school office along with the above mentioned required documentation.
